Kathryn E. Glancy

Kathryn Glancy attained a bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Michigan State University in 2002 and graduated from Michigan State College of Law, Cum Laude, in 2005. In law school, Kathryn was a managing editor of the Michigan State Law Review and secretary of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. She completed an internship in the legal department at Auto -Owners Insurance Company, where she was involved with trial preparation and insurance policy issues.

Upon graduation, Kathryn joined Mika Meyers, PLC in Manistee, Michigan where she specialized in civil litigation, business disputes, municipal law, and health care issues throughout Manistee, Benzie, Wexford, and Mason Counties.

In 2013, Kathryn opened her own practice in Ludington with husband and law partner, David Glancy. Glancy Law Office was courtroom focused, specifically on civil and criminal defense, including jury trials, as well as representing parents and children in neglect abuse proceedings and guardianship contests.

In addition to being a skilled trial lawyer, Kathryn has a wide breadth of experience in the legal field including handling no-fault cases, divorce and custody matters, property and municipal disputes.

It was a natural fit for her at Running Wise due to the family connection, as she is the granddaughter of founding member Bill Wise. She currently resides in Traverse City with her husband David and their two children.
